Imperfect; Thai Express

I've been diligently watching channel 8's 9pm don't stop believing. School life memories ftw!

But I went to watch imperfect mainly cos of xie ming ming. It's a rebel + gangster + fighting show. Typical but I enjoyed it still. 3/5 :)

I also tried Thai Express for the first time ever for dinner! Always wanted to try it but never did until a sudden craving for spices today.

Lemon grass + spicy cashew nuts for starters. Yummy!

The advertised award-winning dish masaman chicken curry with thai-style pancake. The curry had flavourful spices and it was not too spicy. 3.5/5 The pancake = roti prata. It was too oily and not crispy enough. 2/5 The overall wasn't so WoW for $12.90......

The sa-nook thai honey chicken. Very sweet! Quite tasty and soft. 3.5/5

Green curry chicken balls, just the way I like it. I loved the lemon grass taste! 4/5

Coconut milk sago, mostly left untouched. Not my style to eat something so sticky like glue =/ It had a slight indian taste (instead of coconut) + really overly sticky to eat. 2/5

Looks like I don't really like thai food........ I doubt I'd be back but I'm satisfied for trying it once! ^^

I'm still celebrating my birthday

Remember I was saying I wanna celebrate my birthday for the whole month? Hopefully I can really do it! Lol! I'm officially a kittymanic now that most of my friends seem to be showering me with kitty gifts this year heh =p.

I finally caught the amazing spiderman today after much procastination (kinda a long time since I watched a movie, in my memory lol) The beginning was slow and predictable. My favourite part of the movie was of course the climax, where spiderman fought with the lizard. Haha!

I like this value for money lunch set @ Men-Ichi (930 Yishun Ave 2, #01-22/23 Northpoint, Singapore)!

I hardly eat those appetisers but I decided to try some today. Damn, they were GOOD. The fried garlic was super fragrant, crispy and shiok. The gingers were spicy and the pickled vegetables were slightly spicy and sweet. Super appetising. Thumbs up to all these 3 small appetisers!

I don't know why today's portion was so big for mine. Normally it's not that much since it's supposed to be the mini version. The staff gave me a "token" and asked for feedback. Maybe that's why I got a bigger bowl? *No idea but just nice, I was feeling hungry!*

Rick came down for tea time sakae buffet! Super shiok to eat in Sun Plaza's outlet cos it's relatively quiet and very spacious.

I'm now an official Ritz fan from my humongous apple strudel to my blueberry mini strudel and now to my strawberry and apple mini strudels.

What's probably next? I'll soon find myself with the mango and durian minis.

I don't understand why the rating for lockout wasn't so great so I wasn't expecting much from it. Surprisingly it's captivating throughout and I understood the movie! Prisons in space. Cool shit please!

Anyway, tm came down to give me my clothes from BKK. I like the grey cute cats tank, but the other blouse is super girly and SO NOT the current me. I know I hiam a lot but still, many many thanks for those! Teheeheheee new clothes! :D

A real day out, after N years

A whole lot of explosions, explosions and more explosions throughout the show. Ka ba boomz. And all I could remember was nice graphics, bombastic sound effects and a battleship with one humugous canon and big time explosion towards the end. Then, ta dah! The show's over. Overall 3.5/5. I think you can sense the explosive signals were really strong enough.

We haven't been meeting for the longest time. (5 to 10 years?) We skipped all the pri sch outings too. Our excuses were more or less the same, "I was busy." Right!

If not for yesterday, I doubt we'd catch up today too.

So... I just want to say, thanks for today rick! ^^

The Vow

This pretty lady lost her memories and couldn't remember she was married to this handsome guy. The guy tried his best to help her recall her past but she just could not remember anything. I believed the guy truly loved her because he did not force her to stay with him. It seemed like a slow drama, predictable throughout but thankfully, it all came to a sweet ending. It was the ending that made me rate the overall 3.5/5!

The Lady

New additions today... plants in office! Some big potted ones to doll up the place and the above small one on my table. It's real! Remember the blue rose? I took it out from the bear and put it there. Not bad right?

Anyway, my night time was well spent @ Vivo. It was my first time there for a sneak preview of "The Lady". Credits to Chloe for bringing me along (and her hubby for being busy else I'd have no chance to watch liao :3) I saw a few actors/actresses/directors! GOSH! Jiumei is damn chio please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's like a princess dressed in sweet light pink. I really wanted to take pic with her, but too shy. HAHA. Scared tio rejection also D: and later people think I never see stars before (which is also quite true lah, I rarely see them in the streets mah...)

The show ended at 11pm++ and boyboy came to pick me up. Thank you so much for being so reliable =)

CNY 2012 DAY 13!

Groceries shopping with mummy in the morning oh! In preparation for steamboat tonight! And I forgot to take pic of the yusheng and people... Opps. It's just a simple dinner with my family, seb, kj, candy and ys! Just nice all sit by the table and enjoy dinner tgt. Love it! =)

And off I go for a late night movie with ys while seb went to the airport to send his army friend off and kj and candy went home.

We not naughty, THINK POSITIVE! It's quite entertaining tho I'm not a jack neo film fan. I rate it 3.5/5!

Best thing: I drove and reached home safely myself! Happy day!

Went to causeway with mummy..... got 3 sets of pierre cardin lingerie! Yay! It's nice! Ok la not like anyone gonna see it, haha.

I watched anacoda from stars movies channel after i got home.. Damn exciting! It's a snake eat human kind of show, but really captivating =)

Yes, initial plan was to go town but our dear SMRT red line keep spoil, so we had alternatives to take green line instead. Don't wanna risk getting stuck in the train!

Alvin & the chipmunks 3 was soooooooooooooooooooo adventurous and captivating. Seriously, I wasn't so looking forward cos I don't want to get disappointed. But, it turned out as such an awesome show! Hehe! Love theodore, cute max!!!!!!!!!!

Altho shopping plan still failed cos we didn't real shop around, still it's always gd to catch up with one another =)

Er Yee organised some gathering tdy to eat tgt..... totally random.
We went to her house for lunch and it feels like CNY....... i love her steamed fish and pig stomach's soup! Always her best dishes, and she cooks it everytime we all go there. Haha.

@ Night... zi char @ boy's downstairs with him, his mum n cousins. Then we all strolled to northpt to catch harry potter finale!

Wasn't much of a HP fan, only started watching a few of the movies since poly times. Didn't catch all of the ball but still I think the movie's alright, but not so much magical feel like how it used to give me. Was a little emo ending. Haha.

Walked down to the cathay with boy boy to meet candy and HD for mr popper penguin movie. Cute.. very simple story but quite sweet!

Down to rochor for some original tau huay (ok lah it just tastes softer and smoother, and not that sweet)

Kept mummy's sandwich for lunch! Actually it feels quite good to have sandwich for lunch.. esp home made one. My ai xin lunch. Feels so heartwarming that i'm spoilt by my mum for making me or buying me breakfast every morning. Love max!

Chu 4 today!
Slept till 10plus then went out to river hongbao.... this yr nth much to take pics but overall still ok... super sunny this yr!

Then met Sally @ yishun for black swan movie. Not bad lah a lil thriller type.
And for a short dinner @ ishi mura as usual................. my ramen b4 heading home.
She got me a stalk of purple rose for advanced valentines. Sweeeeeeeet :D

My 4 days holidays flew away like tt! But i am looking forward to 2mr nite cos lele's coming to bai nian! HUAT AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched green hornet with baby in the late afternn.... not bad lah tho idk what the whole show's rly abt.... LOL a lil comedy but overall so so.

Back to his home b4 chu fa to a random restaurant, 2 tables to celebrate his ah gong bday in advance. Food's good, tofu + durian pudding is love!

Back to the 11th storey house for some gathering and TV, many chatting and display 'show' of coach, prada, fendi, LV bags and more.
