Feeling vain, I went for a gelish manicure at Vietnam House for the very first time. Vietnam House is a small and cozy mani/pedi neighbourhood shophouse in Yishun. Served by friendly Vietnameses, it provides complimentary drinks for its customers too. My purple bling bling nails were neatly done and I was pretty pleased. Heh. $25 for an hour plus of gelish manicure............ I think it's pretty worth it!

Then I left for PS to meet YS for an early birthday dinner with him @ Bachmann Jap Restaurant. We had the traditional nabeyaki. I would say it's the smoothest and slipperiest udon I've ever tasted in a Jap Restaurant. Oishi! We ended the night with a turkish delight cake at Secret Recipe..... well, what's a celebration without a cake right?

Very nice view. I love dining places with good views. I think I'll enjoy my food and ambience more that way. It gives me some peace too.

Just posing! It would be insane to sit under the hot sun for lunch... but I think it would be breezy and chilling for dinner. Perhaps I should pop by for dinner someday with my family.

Our starters. We loved the peanuts of course. It's $1.50, so yes I made sure we finished them all! There's free flow lime juice ($3.50) so we ordered one to share. Free flow!!!!!!!!!!! *My auntie skills*

Salted fish fried rice. Super fresh mini prawns! $6, big portion and totally worth it.

Rosemary chicken. Typical western. $13.90, normal portion and totally overpriced.

I think I will bring my family to try the zi char dishes in time to come. Hopefully it would not disappoint us. Maybe some time in May, after bro exams are done. Heh.

My best deal for the day: MY LOVELY BLING BLING PINKY GEL NAILS @ $35!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had them done at a random small nail shop in Chong Pang, and I totally don't recall the shop name... oops!

REUNION LUNCH + DINNER

Was up early on reunion's day! Hehe... had some cha siew and mushroom pau for breakfast before heading out with all the good food to bai bai ah ma. Crowded!

And back home for 1st round lunch with all mum's cooked food and my fav outside buy de chic wing. BEST LUNCH EVER! XD

Went to boyboy's house for 2nd round reunion lunch... love the home made shark fin's soup ttm... just sampled all the other dishes cos I was still full from my lunch at home wahahahaha...

And randomly went to PINC @ northpoint for last min manicure. OMG. LOVE MAX. Super obsessed with my hot pink glittery nails. It made my whole day feel so great. I can't stop looking at my nails!

Back home for reunion dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steamboat cum BBQ with family and boyboy! SO SHIOK CAN!

WOOHOOOOOO! Tomorrow can get HONG BAOssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Superstar Seafood Restaurant dim sum cute brunch...... mostly fried food, not so much to my liking. Blahh. Too drained to take pictures.

Relaxing around...

We were so tired from yesterday's shopping that we went for manicure today. Good time to chill and stone while getting recharged for the night. Simple design on my fingernails! Seb used the time to cut his hair, haha!

Dinner! We ate a lot of roast goose in HK. Fragrant skins!

HK's new town mall is very similar to SG's bugis street.

Fruity dessert to end the tiring day :D
