He knows I can't wait, he knows I'm impatient, he knows once I eye on something I want to get it the next minute (literally).
The story goes like this: I saw this bag very very randomly while shopping on Wed in town.. and so I took a pic of it. I whatsapp-ed him and asked him to check if US ship over is cheaper, fastest delivery (I suggested DHL cos I guess it's pretty fast), etc. I even sourced and found a red plain kate spade bag somewhat similar style online, cheaper by 1/2 price. I thought since it's pretty nice too I should buy that since it's more worth it. Altho deep deep in me I still prefer the one I saw in the store. But for $$$$$ sake, I decided I should get the red one since it's on sale.
But seems like it's a complicated process cos cannot ship direct to SG, then I think all the waiting time and all gonna kill my desire over it so I thought okay nvm maybe just forget about it since it's also so expensive. Honestly I think I will get over it soon because I can't get the red one, and I just can't bear to buy the one I saw in the store cos it's too expensive. I don't wish to splurge just cause I'm so obsessed with the design.
But somehow, it never came to my mind that he'd buy it, like in SG and like so fast. I honestly thought he asked his US relative to help and I'd wait a few weeks for it. That way, I could save probably 20 to 30%.
So I was caught offguard when the bag just arrived today.. delivered by DHL (himself personally)... seriously, it's not like a $20 bag, it's a $400 bag! But he still bought it just so fast... he said all my other friends also know he going to buy for me. Haha. So only I don't know. Ok. This was a nice one, successful surprise indeed. Now it makes sense why xt reminded me not to buy first cos she alr knew I'm getting it today. And now I also know why boy cocked a story that the red bag was OOS cos he gonna buy in SG and SG only got the design that I wanted. Wahahaahahahaaaa.......
Yes, I've a bf that over pampers me at times like this. I nagged him not to spend such $$ but he's right also, I'm happy and still very happy that my kate spade dream bag came true today. Hehe.. Wish everyday were like this, always have a xing fu xiao nu ren feeling. HAHA! Okay, gtg, back to admiring my bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!
