Temporary Happiness

I had to blog this.
I was so happy that I could not sleep.
I experienced temporary happiness.
I wish to hear you tell me this one day.
I held little hope.
I thought you'd last long time.
I waited for years, literally.
I was surprised such a day came.

You came to me.
You flirted with me.
You said things that were just so sweet.
You showered me with warmth.
You gave me a sense of belonging.
You made me melt.
You made me hold onto hope with you.
You made me want to fall in love with you again.

But all was just a lie.
