My Birthday

How do people celebrate birthdays?

Some make it loud. Party. Drinking. Fun. Be sure that at least a few hundreds of your friends are involved. Lots of dancing, screaming, drinking, partying and all sorts of crazy stuff. Annoucing to the world hey, it's your day, you know, your big big day. You'll be so drunk and high and probably end up throwing up or appear in someone else's bed the next morning.

Some make it normal. Wait and See. Miracles and Surprises. Anything and Whatever. It's just a normal day with a little celebration to get that slight tinge of speciality. Wishes, gifts, cakes. You may say it's just another routine thing that happens each year. It's not a surprising day if you aren't exactly looking forward to something new.

Some make it dull. Forgotten, alone, quietness, emoness. Thinking all about the past, the past, and nothing but the sad past.

Which is mine? A bit of all.

Remembering one's birthday means a lot I suppose. Well, at least for me. Even if one day I no longer place that high of an importance on it, I know at least the trouble to remember means something. Something sweet. Thank you people for all the birthday wishes and presents. The thought always counts. I appreciate them, a lot. (:
