Happy 2nd Anniversary

Greetings readers!

My boy and I spent our 2nd anniversary dinner date at ilLido @ Sentosa Golf Club @ 27 Bukit Manis Road, Singapore 099892.

We had to walk this short stretch of path to the world class italian dining place.....

WOW I was pleasantly amazed by the bird eye's view scenic dining environment!

Outfit of the Day: Pinky Dress from Lemon Chiffon.

Free starters: Seb's fav food - bread!

A surprise complimentary 1st dish from the chef: 'Soup'. When we tasted it, ehhhh, how come it's a cold and refreshing honeydew dessert?! The waiter/chef/both surprised us! Good joke no. 1.

A surprise complimentary 2nd dish from the chef: A piping hot potato ball. The waiter asked me to choose first and then went on to tell Seb that I took the bigger one. Then he mumbled to us that he was just kidding, actually they were of the same size..... LOL..... cold joke no. 2.

Appetiser: Parma Ham 'Riserva' with Pickles, $29. Super thin and slightly salty but very very appetising indeed!

My main: Lamb rack, $58. Tender, cheesy and smoky. Best combi ever.

Seb's main: Tagliolini with lobster and moscato rose, $48. Fat, fresh and filling. Just can't get enough of its unique and slightly spicy sweet taste.........

We were presented this complimentary mini cake after we were done with our finest meats and artisanal pasta. The very entertaining waiter went, "I heard it's your 2nd anniversary so you can make a wish and then blow out the candle.". We complied. He then took the cake back claiming that the chef would slice it into half for us.

He came back with one tiny slice! LOL........... he then jokingly revealed that they would usually present a full cake but we'd normally get a slice each. Cheat my feeling!!!!! I was caught offguard and felt funny. Still, we enjoyed all his jokes for the night. He wished us goodnight before we left too. We were very satisfied with tonight's dinner and service!

We then headed to Ice Cream Chefs @ 12 Jalan Kuras (Upper Thomson) to chill. We only spent $3.30 on this huge portion! We so happened to enjoy a free topping (Tuesday Promotion) and we chose brownie cubes to go along with our turkish apple tea flavoured ice cream :D

Awww..

Seb made a hello kitty 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle for me. So sweet!
