Yishun Live Seafood

I always happen to drive past this place. Sometimes, it's crowded in the evenings/ late at night so I thought maybe the seafood is good. Finally, I tried it today and I found it so-so. Actually, most zi char taste the same to me, including this.

6 pieces of ham/duck meat wrapped in egg skin for $9. Expensive please! It was hot and crispy, but not that tasty. I was disappointed... I thought it'd be like some famous peking duck but it was way too far from it.

Pork ribs ($8) were soft so it was still okay, but it's the same as any other typical zi char ones.

Kang kong ($6) was actually one of the chefs recommendations on the menu, but it tasted so normal.

Anyway, the highlight was supposed to be the fish head steamboat ($22) but it was also not nice. Salty soup and siap and hard fish.

I doubt I'll return...
