Today was fun!

Today was fun! Fun and memorable so I am going to write down what I can remember for the day.

I never knew a weekday could feel so good. I think I only treasured this weekday cos I applied for leave. It feels really shiok at home not having to work. SMSed with Ashiken the whole morning! I hope you're feeling better. I can't wait to see you on Sat. =)

Early afternoon papa picked me up from home and sent me to NTU. I took 10 minutes for the NTU written test. Topic: My Ambition. The interview was super duper short. 1 student to 2 interviewers. Sigh.. don't dare to place any hope. Haiz.

Then papa sent me to SMU! I was freaking early and stoned a while and bumped into Wani. Omgness. Such coincidence! She's there to meet her friend. We caught up a bit before they left me alone to sit and continued stoning. Lucky I got Itouch to accompany me =D

I was super anticipating cos the test is like 1 h 15 mins and I really am excited about what is it all about. LOL. IN THE END! TSK! The SMU written test was like sitting for O levels. 1st paper compre. Chimness ttm. I anyhow bomb. 2nd paper compo. The topic that I chose: Happiness is not an accident but a choice. Cute right the topic? Lol. The interview was 8 students to 2 interviewers. So basically everybody said something along the line of yes go overseas is good. I am the only one who's insistent on staying in Singapore. =) I never knew I sub consciously love my country until today. I even said something like everyone is coming to singapore, why should we go overseas?

I didn't like the SMU environment. A lot of English and slang speaking people and a lot of rich kids. Posh Cars. Posh Faces. Posh Clothes. Communication breakdown. Feeling inferior also. Lol. And I see horrible rushing here and there and a lot of laptops and projects etc. Such a horror.

I thought nobody talks like me - a typical Singaporean. Luckily got.

While queuing for the registration, I saw Toh Min! OMGNESS. And somehow I also saw Tan Lijun! Then I don't think I saw anybody else already.

I met 2 new friends @ SMU. The first one is Dave. He saw me stoning and asked if I came for the interview. Then we started talking. He is very funny and crazy about finance, investments and making money and he says I talk like his sister. We went to different rooms for the written test and interview cos his slot was earlier than mine. But somehow we bumped into each other again after the interview. I think his ended late while mine ended early. Then there is this random guy walking beside Dave after the interview. He's Brandon. Dave and Brandon.

So the 3 of us chatted our way to MRT together, then Dave suggested bringing us for dinner @ Baikohken @ Raffles Place for japanese ramen. Not bad :) :) We got extra ingredients for free cos he personally knows the people there. The eggs are really good!

We trained back, and I saw Brendan in the train. As usual being the friendly him auto made friends with Dave and Brandon. We chatted all the way until Brandon alighted @ Bishan while the other 2 alighted with me @ Yishun.

It's quite a random day but I like it. Brendan told me something that I secretly am surprised but somehow still like it :D :D LOL!

Today, everyone of us chatted with one another in a super duper friendly way. Probably everybody would have thought that we all are old buddies but no, today is the first day we just met. LOL! But somehow we really chatted like we know each other 1000 dino years ago.

I like today. It's random bumping into people, catching up sessions, and meeting new people. LOVE IT!
